Today was a much better day than yesterday.  I woke up in a much better mood and the sun was shining and I had pre-arranged to get a babysitter for the kids this morning while I go and have myself a pedicure.  Hooray! Needing the break and some time out, and I feel lucky to have found such a great girl to come play and watch the kids for a few hours so I can get out.

I decided to go to this place called The Cowshed.  It seemed very cute and they had what seemed to be a good price for the service that you get.  Let me tell you, this isn't Villa Nails by Super Target y'all.  I miss it that place. I miss it a lot. You really don't get the same quality of service here.  They just do things differently. Period. It was cute and relaxing, which was the most important thing, but I hate converting how much I am spending here for something that isn't as good as what I pay half for in Texas.  Oh well.

When I got home the boys were bouncing off the walls, so we headed out to the park.  We spent a good few hours there just enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air and letting the boys run and run and get their energy out.  We stopped by for dinner at a little cafe in St. John's Wood on the way home because Todd was out with the missionaries and wouldn't be home until later.

When we got home I snapped a few of these pictures of Tate's new skill of walking!!!  He is so proud of himself, and has it down now.




It was bedtime for the boys and Todd got home soon after.  I headed over to my friend Amy's house for bookclub.  I actually just got home and it is 11:40pm.  It was a great evening filled with talking about the book and eating some snacks, and just talking with some other girls.
