Waking up this morning in our London bed was great. The boys ran in to give us big hugs and Todd went to get Tate out of his crib. He said that as soon as he picked him up he was super happy and started reaching for the door. I guess he knows that if he is here, I must be here too.
I wanted to snuggle all their muggles all morning long, but the big boys had to go to school and I wanted to take my Dad around to hit some of the major hot spots of London before he headed off to the airport.
The boys had kinda a rough morning, it is time to crack down with the rules after a week long of playing around. Poor Grandpa probably had it rough, these two boys really know how to get away with it all when Mom and Dad aren't home.
We got the boys off to school, and then my Dad, Tate and I went to Pret for some breakfast. We got some chocolate croissants, and had a good time just chatting and eating.
We then jumped on the Tube and went and say Big Ben, Westminster, and Buckingham Palace.
Here we are in front of Big Ben.
Grandpa and Taters
I am SO grateful for my Dad coming and taking care of the boys. It was so nice to be able to fully relax knowing that the kids were in loving and caring hands. The boys had such a great time, and loved all the new stuff they learned from Grandpa. Tagg was telling me this morning that he now will eat ketchup with his eggs from now on, because that is how Grandpa does it.
Thanks Dad for being such a great Dad and Grandpa, I will always appreciate you taking your time to do this for me!
We hurried back to the flat so my Dad could pack up and get ready to head off to the airport for his long flight home. The car that came to pick him up was late (of course) so a little stressful, but it finally came and we got him off!
After Grandpa left it was almost time for me to pick up the boys, so I got a little unpacking done. When I went to pick up the boys they both had had a great day at school and we stopped to get a treat on the way home at this little stationery store that the boys call Western Union, but is really named Gilberts. Ha! I've told them a thousand times what it's name is, but they can't get over the big Western Union sign out front.
Boy I missed these two! And I love that they pick Haribo for their treat now!
We came home and relaxed and had a great Friday night with the boys. We ordered take-out and watched the latest Studio C on our bed and just loved being back together. It's been so great to be home with these three boys. I just keep snuggling them and kissing them!!
