Today we were all pooped from all our galavanting around Ireland so we took it easy at the house this morning. The boys watched some TV in their own private room upstairs, Tate wandered around and kept trying to go up the stairs (thank heavens we have a one level flat in London!), and Todd and I lazed about taking it slow and just loving not having anything in particular to do.
Tate enjoying our morning inside the mews house...
After lunch we headed out for another hike on the property, this time it was shorter and deeper into the woods.
Tate and Todd ready to get some hiking on...
Before we went hiking we stopped by the Lobby of the hotel to pet the property dogs, which are Irish Terriers, of course! They let you take them for walks if you want, and we kinda tried, but they wouldn't have it. So we settled for playing with them in the front of the hotel for a little while.
Our boys love dogs...even Taters is very into "gogs" right now.
"Hi goggy"...
Our hike was fun and the boys collected more sticks and rocks along the way. Boys and sticks and rocks!! I will never get it. But I love seeing their little collections.
After our hike Tate and I came back to the house for a nap, while Todd took the boys horseback riding. Todd really wanted to take the boys and I was happy to stay back and relax the afternoon away.
Here are the boys getting all outfitted to ride horses!
Tagg mounting his horse for the afternoon, Spud.
Tagg on Spud and Thatcher on Polly.
Todd told me that Tagg talked to his riding partner the ENTIRE time. He didn't stop talking once. That is Tagg for you, this boy has no filters and can talk your ears off!
Thatcher with his riding partner, and I am willing to bet they were silent. Look at that scenery!
Tagg loved it!
So did Thatch...they told me that it was one of the best times they've ever had. Good ol' Texas boys these boys are!
The three horse riding fools!
The boys asked to see the smallest pony they had on the property, and the guy took them back and showed them this little guy...
So cute!
Todd and the big boys brought dinner home and we all enjoyed our last night here in Ireland!
