Today after breakfast we came back to our room and started packing up to head out to Cork. I snapped this picture of the boys doing their favorite thing while we are traveling and sightseeing...
Seriously. Since we don't have a TV, they are like moths to a flame!
And here is Taters playing on the iPad as we are getting ready to head out...
Aghhhhh! These boys!
We stopped by Carroll's, which is a massive Ireland souvenir shop to grab a few things to remember Dublin by.
I got our Christmas ornament from Ireland, the boys got some cool Ireland banks, and Taters got this Ireland football...he really loves balls!
We went back to the hotel to wait for our taxi to take us to Hertz for us to get our rental car.
While Todd was checking out I snapped this picture of ol glory...
I also snapped a few pictures of the building right across from the Westin, it was so cool...
The hop on, hop off buses in Dublin were green! Pretty clover...I mean cleaver! Ha ha ha!
Todd was sporting his green shirt today in honor of Ireland. He loves to match his shirts to all the countries we visit. Oh, Todd!
(he is going to kill me when he reads this blog! Ha!)
We drove the three hours in our rental car to Cork. It was a beautiful drive. I would have took pictures of the drive, but I was too busy rocking out to the radio!! I miss driving and I miss the radio. I have no idea what songs are out now. It is a weird feeling to be kinda removed from it all. But it's also nice.
We got to Cork, and to where we are staying, the Castlemartyr Resort, around 7:00pm. We pulled in and were instantly amazed and awed by the cool castle ruins. We were even more amazed that we were staying, LITERALLY inside the ruins themselves!
We are staying in this cute little mews house for the next four nights and looking out the kitchen window I took this photo...
Those are old chimney ruins from this old castle. It is so rad. Or freaky...can't really decide right now, good thing I am not scared of ghosts!
Here is the door to our Mews House.
It is so peaceful and calm here, and there is a giant rosemary plant right beside this front door that is so fragrant. I think we will really enjoy it here over the next few days!
