Day One-Hundred and Twenty-Six: Summertime, and the livin' is easy....

Today we hung around our flat cleaning and chillaxing (as the boys like to say) and then we headed out to Regents Park for a picnic and to feed the ducks.

We stopped by Pret on the way to get some lunch. The real name is Pret a Manger. It's a little sandwich shop that has really good healthy sandwiches, salads, soups, bread etc. I love it. It is convenient and healthy. The boys call it Pret and Manager. No matter how much I tell them it isn't "manager", they still call it that. Fine. I give in. I've got to pick my battles.

We had a little picnic on the grass and it was lovely, as they say here in the UK. It was also humid today. Humidity and I don't mix well, we just don't get along. But the park was so beautiful and it seemed like everyone was out enjoying themselves and the summer weather.

After our picnic we decided to take a little boat ride on the pond. We have been really wanting to try it out, so it seemed like the perfect day for it.

The boys getting their life vests on.

Even Tate had one...

Looking out over the pond. I love Willow trees...

The boat ride was so fun. The boys loved it. Well the big boys did. Tate was done after 2.2 seconds, but he hung in there.

It really was such a picture perfect day!

Oh hey there hot stuff! You going my way?

Blurry, but a cute one of this big kid.

Taters and me...

This park is full of ducks and geese that love people and food. It is really ideal for kids who love to feed ducks and geese, and also sometimes like to chase ducks and geese and try to touch/pet them. Which isn't ideal for parents, because that is gross.

After we got out of the boat, we went to feed the ducks and geese our leftovers from lunch.

This goose had a major tude, and Tate wasn't digging it. It freaked him out.
He was very entitled and kept thinking all the food was for him. I told Todd he must be a millennial goose.

My two very American boys with a very British background.

It was such a great Saturday. We have a lot of those here. There is just so much to see and do, and everything we see and do, I love. I have always wanted to come here to England, I love all things British, but I am so glad that I get to experience all of these fun things with my family. It is the best.
