Well, today was a sad day...we got off the "big disney boat" as we've been calling it to Tate, and headed to the Barcelona airport to go home to London!
Our flight didn't leave until around 2:00pm so we had a bit of a wait at the airport, which makes for a lot of fun with 5 tired people. But without any major hitches we were on our way.
Flying into Gatwick is the worst. I know that sounds bratty, but it's true. It takes at least 2 hours to get home and with 3 tired and hungry boys (okay who are we kidding, 4 hungry and tired boys!) it makes for a LONG 2 hours. But we survived! Again. And when we got home it was dinner, baths, and bed time!
Phew. It has been an AMAZING vacation, or holiday as our UK friends say. Todd and I seriously pinched ourselves several times over the course of the week we had such an incredible time together as a family seeing sights that we have always dreamed of seeing with our children.
